NJ Bullying Defined for ParentsThis course is designed to assist NJ parents to develop a greater awareness of the Foundational Purpose of the NJ Anti-bullying Bill of Rights Act, to dispel the 4 Big Myths associated with the NJ Anti-bullying Bill of Rights Act, to develop a greater awareness of the 3 Criteria required for a behavior to meet the NJ definition of Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying, and to shift parental focus from the stigmatization of HIB actors and targets to social-emotional learning.
Sextortion Awareness for ParentsWith the prevalence of remote learning, there is a concern that cyber predators will take advantage of the increased time students are online to target victims of sextortion. Sextortion is a serious crime that occurs when someone threatens to distribute your private and sensitive material if you don’t provide them images of a sexual nature, sexual favors, or money.
